The main objective of the PACIFIC project is to pave the way towards the introduction of PRS into User Communities with a view to enabling their use of additional PRS potential. Galileo is a European initiative for a state-of-the art global navigation satellite system, providing global positioning, navigation and synchronization services of high exactitude and under civil control.
